About me

I am a postdoctoral researcher with the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) / Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). Previously, I was working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Computational Intelligence and Deep Learning (CIDL) research group. I hold a BSc, an MSc and a PhD in Informatics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), since 2013, 2016, and 2021, respectively. My research interests lie in the area of Deep Learning, focusing on a broad spectrum of topics, ranging from representation learning and retrieval to robotics perception and timeseries analysis and forecasting.

Jul 18, 2022 I was awarded the prize for the Best 2020-2021 doctoral thesis in the area of Artificial Intelligence by the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society (EETN)
